What do people do for 2wd inserts? simply cut a pair of rears in half?
Do people have a "special" way of mounting their tyres? ie, wash the tyres before gluing etc?

I just use proper front 2wd foams, cut about 1mm off the bead of the tyres so they sit on the rim better too and glue them up, don't wash them or anything unless there dirty!

I just use schumacher 4wd front foams, and cut the inside and outside edges off. They fit on the rims better then. :)

I clean the bead of the rim and the tire with motor spray before I mount them. This insures there is no oil on the bead and allows the glue to stick properly. Normally, I just use standard 2wd foams and shape the edges so they form to the inside of the tire. Hope this helps. :thumbsup:
