Help with new buggy

Hi guy`s can i have some help with getting a new buggy?
ON here or other forums there are these buggy`s for sale
The Caster zx-1
Maverick Stealth XB
HPI Trophy
Nanda NRB3
they are all the rtr`s and all selling for about the same money?
was just going to stick to lecky for the outdoor season but am already bored.
So am looking for something cheap just to run.
i know i would be better off getting a pro but just cant afford it.
Any help with this would be great
Thanks Guys
Jamie

Cant go wrong with HPI, plenty of parts available and lots of customer support.

Are you looking for new or second hand, there are some bargins to be had second hand as lots of racers upgrade every year. Hobao Hypers are worth considering, cheap spares, readily available. Hyper 7s are a good club buggy (run one myself) then theres the 8, 8.5 and the top one the 9. They are quite strong (give mine a right bashing and still going well) and lots have had them so should be able to get plenty of setup advice. Hope that helps

Also if you want to stretch your budget keep an eye our for the Hong Nor X1-CR's, ive raced mine for a while and never broke it. Very good buggy, they should be a bit cheaper because the X2 just came out.

I was after a second hand one, and i think i might have got myself a Hong Nor X1-CR with nova rossi engine tunned pipe and servo`s

Sounds good  I would insist on seeing it running and find out how old the engine is before parting with any cash. Hope its all good for you

one of the boys knows the engine and car, been used for 1 season only
its a hong nor x1 cr pro, with 16mm big bore shocks (upgrade)
engine is a novarossi 421b
pipe is a hong nor tuned pipe
x2 sanwa servos one is a vrx (i think)

Although not posted on this forum, I highly recommend buying a Losi 8ight 1.0 Buggy. You can get it in the RTR version, and with the recent release of the 8ight 2.0, you can get the older version for a great deal. It is a great car, for a really good price.

I did look into a Losi 8 i knew of one for sale but even with my limted experience i knew it was well worn

if you are looking for a good rtr with surpport i would have to say go for caster buggy one as they are huge surpport and also you can mix and match with the mugen mxb5 part and secondly the are strong
