South Lakes Regional
 

June 14th and August 23rd will see the return of the South Lakes club to the regional series.

I had a little trip up there on Sunday to have a look at the track site.

The track will be build into the flat area and the banking, with the rostrum facing the bank. The flat area has quite a few lumps and rolls that should make it intersting. Astro covered wood jumps will also be in there.

The school will be open for toilets and catering.

Looking good to me.

I thought Jenski said in the other thread that the banking would be used as the rostrum?

For club meetings they often use the banking for that, but for the regionals it will be parts of the track.

I was racing when the discussions were taking place, but there were talks about building a rostrum for the event, as when we stand on the banking you can be unsighted when using the banking too.

As you can see the sun does sometimes come out up here :)
