Legal Weight - Attn Yardeee

Tom,

Had my cat around three weeks now and have just cleaned and re built it ready for this weekends Regional at Coventry.

I have just got out the scales and found that with Lipos in and everything ready to go I am bang on the legal weight. The kit is standard and I fear that I might have issues with scrutineering.

Do you think this will be a problem or do I have to put in 10/15g of weight somewhere..? Obviously I would prefer not to..

Cheers

Dont take the risk over a few grams, get it to 1600g to be safe, surely its not worth losing a race over.

legal weight needs to be 1588g - will be scrutineering

Up the shock oil by 5WT :woot:

seriously to be safe because your scales may not be the same calibration as the regional scrutineers id add a bit of lead.

Roger out of interest what weight saving measure have you put into your zx5 ? I know you run Nimh the same as Rich but his car is roughly 200g heavier than mine with nimhs in.

He has the titanium screws, is there anything else he should be considering ? Maybe Drilling the chassis out old skool style !! :)

Lee,

just tiny servo and tiney-tiny reciever. LRP speedos aren't as heavy as they look either
