b4 lipos and brushless, what to get?
 

After a budget set up of lipo batteries and motor/speedo.
I am not after the fastest set up, just something reliable, possibly getting a quicker motor at a later date.
Any reccomendations and guidelines on gearing?

If possible:

- ESC: LRP Sphere Competition 2007 / Nosram Matrix Evolution 2007, or you can wait for the new LRP SXX
- Motor: LRP X12 7,5T - Orion 7,5T - Speed Passion 7,5T - ...
- Battery: something from Orion or LRP

Are these very expensive, as i am looking for a budget system at first, learning off road.

if you don't plan on doing any regionals/nationals then i've heard/seen that the 'ezrun' brushless speedcontroler/motor combo that comes with either a 9turn or 5.5turn motor is very good price/performance at just £60-70 for both the motor and speedo which is extremely cheap compared to other brushless setups, and lrp/nosram setup will set you back atleast £130 and thats just 2nd hand, brand new would be over £200! Just depends on what you want to spend and how quick you think you'll progress as you may want to eventually change to change to top spec motor/speedcontroler

hey i just bought that ezrun brushless 5.5t brushless combo and im having trouble im using a 3800mah nimh battery and everytime i try to hit the throttle it starts like stuttering and putturing please can anyone give me advice im completly lost..
