Good! Without modifications? I've know many guys saying that the AE shock sucks. But the Losis are great.

I think I fitted them to mine without modifications, I may have had to put some small limiters in the rear.

Longer top bolts on the front, the larger bore shocks will foul the tower if you don't space them back. You can't space them back too far tho' as it'll then foul the steering turnbuckle.

Are AE shocks really that bad?! The CML team seem to run them on their Yokomos so they can't be total rubbish can they?

PaulRotheram 04-02-2007 06:42 PM

ae shocks are fine.. just need practise and patience.

AE shocks are the best, but they are har to do...do them properly and ur rewarded....whereas losi shocks are easy to do....so are consistent.

the thing with AE shocks are u have to get the pack right and you have to regually change the seals for ultimate performance

AE shocks are fine, but you have to build them right. I wrote up an article:

That's a really cool article you wrote. I am glad to hear the AE shocks are ok as I plan on using as much 'swap over' stuff as possible from the AE on my 4wd and shocks were top of the list!

Thx.
