What pinion to use for brushless motor?
 
what pinion should i use with my 6.5t burshless motor, i have a b4 with standard 81t spur gear?

need to know before 19th April.

It is the novak system sensored

Quick answer is a FDR of 6-7...

22/23/24 with the 81, depending on track

make sure esc & motor are cool/warm not cooking

FDR = Final Drive Ratio, which is spur ÷ pinion x gearbox ratio (2.6 for a B4)

so 81 ÷ 22 x 2.6 = 9.57:1 FDR, you can work out the other two;)

I'd agree with Glenn, shouldn't be too far away with a 23 as a started for 10.
