Are there any tricks or things you can do to get a website to the top of google?

Your second to top as it is ;)

Depends on what the search term is...

If money is no object you can use google adwords and get your site in the sponsored listings, you then pay google everytime someone clicks on your site (the ones at the rhs and top of a google search results page)

To get at the top of natural searches you need loads of backlinks, lots of pages and loads of other stuff..

Theres stacks of people that do search engine optimisation for a living, ou cant really just cheat it..

keep referring them to the search engines,over and over
