Gearing.

What gearing should i run on an 8.5 turn motor. Spur is a 78t. Was thinking of a 21 or 22 pinion. Anyone got any advice...?

That sounds about right, it puts you at a 9.xx:1 final drive. I would do a little checking of the temps to make sure though.
