Jimmy's first disappointing article.

I refer to Jimmy's "B4 for a WIFE" article.

Imagine my disappointment when I realised it was a write up on a build for a car he did for the lovely Mrs Oople.

I thought he was offering a swap.

(I'll have to tell the missus she's staying now). :p

Was a top article really. How big a difference does adding the lead make? As a noob I'm only just starting to tinker with trying to get grip without swapping ends on the slippy stuff. Should I start with more or less damping or load some weight up front?

Cheers. ;)

Adding lead at the rear gives more rear traction, which will give the car less steering. Adding lead all over will give more traction all round but also slow the car down in every respect. It will accelerate slower, turn slower etc.. But the car will also be thrown around less. It will just be easier to drive.

I never used lead all over my car like that, but I know david sneed did, and he was making high finals at nationals with a heavily leaded b4
