Speed Passion GT PRO ESC

Has any one tried one of these ESC's yet.
Speed Passion GT - PRO Brushless ESC Version 2.0.
Price looks good considering LRP and Nosram top brushless esc's are around Ģ200.
These are retailing for Ģ160.
What are Speed passions warranty like.

I am waiting for these to appear in the UK as no one seems to have any in. Maybe the team drivers might be using them?

The warranty on the GT1.1 I had was 2 years I think but I thought i read on the speedpassion website that the warranty on the 2.0's is only 120 days?

I have used the GT 1.1 this winter in my World GT car. lots of power super smooth and very adjustable. Support is top notch in North America from Schumacher USA, they give free updates and pick up the return postage even. It is a little bigger than the other speed controls but the power and support more than make up for that here. I just ordered the latest 2.0 for the summer offroad season and will use my old one in my T4. I was told that the LFP version is just as smooth and can do to 5.5 in a touring car and is wide open in off road also a little smaller and a bit cheaper.

To sum it up, support is same as Novaks, way way better than LRPs. Power is as good as the best out there. If you have the room run one.

Hello from Spain,

I bought a GT LPF last year on November, I use one bat and then the esc doesn`t work, so I contact Speed Passion Factory (king-golden.com), and they ask me to return the esc so they can solve my problem. Until now I have no news about this esc, and Speed passion factory donīt reply to my emails, now I don't have esc and no money, so now I canīt rely on Speed passion support.

Only for your info

Schumacher US/UK/EU/AU handles all the warranty, not the Speed Passion Factory

Finally I sent an email to speed passion with the link to several international RC forums explaining my problems with them. On friday they reply me with excuses for the delay, and informing me the will ship today a new 2.o LP for me. :)

I hope that this serves in order that if in the future someone takes a problem as mine, they could solve it more rapidly.

Toņo.-

That sound quite bad from speed passion. No answer until you show them that you are making noise on forums... Then quick response :bored::bored:
