Ironic, I have just spent the last 30 mins replying to a thread on Micro Rc where they think that we are crap (in particular my wife Michele- who incidently did your order for you last night) Might be worth telling them how "bad" we are

(and several of them come on here regular too!!!)

What a bunch of numptys!! I have dealt with dms for only a few items, but never had any trouble, in fact, quite the opposite. Nothing but a good service, friendly people to deal with. very helpful and knowledgeable too.

DMS get the  from me.:)

Sebastian 27-03-2009 02:25 PM

Same here. Although I only ordered once so far I can say that your service is excellent. Perfect communication and fast shipping. Even faster than some German shops do!

stegger 27-03-2009 02:34 PM

Some people just like to moan though. It gives them a purpose in life :D

that discussion is here:

funnily darren, i've been constructive and balanced in my arguments throughout, even admitting when i am wrong..
I'll leave it up to the everyone else to draw their own conclusions.

I would, however, urge anyone to keep buying from DMS if the service they have been receiving has been good.

dms racing have always be great to deal with for me if its in stock ive had it next day or a day later at longest.if theyve got in stock i use them always.

PaulRotheram 27-03-2009 03:57 PM

just read the thread over on micro rc.. and all I can say is what a bunch of complete fuck wits, mind my french i do appologise jimmy!

Everything said on there is completely out of order and should never be said on a forum, feedback is feedback good or bad and thats fair enough, but having a jab at someone who cant even voice their opinion back is low, the guys could at least grow a pair and pick up the phone to dispute it..

Darren Boyle 27-03-2009 04:11 PM

Paul, thanks for the comments mate, the replies on that thread took up waaaay to much time of a fairly busy day. A genuine gripe is fair enough (which to some point Matisse did have although we disagree on the facts) but I saved him the job of phoning to complain about them being dearer than anticiapted by actually phoning him!

As for the others who "jumped on board" to have a dig (one obviuos one in particular), just makes me sick, especially when my own wife is dragged into it by him!!!! Funny that when you see tham face to face they dont say boo to a goose, just hide from you all day at racing, yet behind the keyboard they become some sort of warrior!!!

Scouser 27-03-2009 04:11 PM

Anyone with a bad word to say about DMS obviously doesn't know their arse form their elbow. Without doubt the best service from any model shop in the UK. I was due to make my first visit there today but my wife's meeting in Epsom was cancelled! Gutted really, I had a shopping list as long as my arm!!

I agree darren, it did get totally out of hand and became somthing i never intended.

Scouser - glad to here you've had great service, long may it continue.

Darren Boyle 27-03-2009 04:30 PM

Mat, as you have said and I have agreed, everyone is always entitled to an opinion, I belive we did everything in our power to serve you effeciently "and" politely, you disagreed, thats an opinion you are entitield to. But as for the other people diverting the thread into a genral slate DMS thread (with no real facts too) was a bit over the top for me, especially dragging my wife into it also.

You cant please everyone, it is almost impossible, but when you genuinely try to do your best by each and every customer you do end up taking a little too perssonally.....

James this is happening with all clubs a few years ago at oswestry we where getting 25 odd people down on a regular basis but now we are only just getting 15.

I discovered DMS early last year and i havent ordered from another shop since. I havent found another shop that comes near DMS on any level. Friendly service, Always willing to help and postage is always quick.

I was also shocked by some people's comments ive spoken to michelle loads of time placing orders and she has always been helpful and friendly. I have visited other model shops and had shop assistants that are very rude one of which was talking to someone on MSN and and when i asked a question she didnt even look at me and kept her back to me and carried on chatting with her friend. I swiftly left not buying anything.

And regarding Wayne, i never said he has;t purchased anything for me, i said i didn;t want to get him in trouble by disclosing exactly WHAT he bought for me. And don't be so thick, i obviously paid him for the parts.
as for the club
Summer 2006 buggies - 25 people
Summer 2006 saloon - 59 people
Summer 2006 micro - 17 people

Spring 2009 Buggy - 24
Spring 2009 Saloon - 30

taken from your site. fact
no doubt you will come back and try and dispute all of this and prove yourself right like you always do, but i'm not carrying on in this thread anymore.

Ive closed the MicroRC thread as requested by both parties.

In the same way that Mat and Darren dont want 'outsiders' jumping into the thread and turning it into a mass gang-bang of insults I too dont want it being jumped upon by every man and his poodle.

Dazza and Mat have requested it be shut..and it has.

Later taters :)

Sounds like a case of small scale syndrome to me.

Everyone knows DMS are the nuts and do everything in their power to help each individual customer.

Show the Micro lads a link to this Darren, the service you give is second to none. Your service ends once royal mail take the package and then its out of your control, but there is no denying that you can't do any better without personally hand delivering yourself.
