Xbox 360 or PS3
 

Pretty simple guys, which ones better? I'm done with the knackered PS2, must've won the rugby world cup with ireland 500 times now.....

I've got both and play on the ps3 havent played on the xbox since i have had the ps3 when they first came out.

A mate of mine had ps3 and went to xbox 360 cos he preferred it

I have a PS3, and I also regularly play on my mates xbox.

Buy whatever your mates have got, you won't be dissapointed with either! :thumbsup:

They are both mint, but the PS3 is still stupidly expensive and the x-box is not...

Only tried a PS3 shortly, but i own a 360 and it gets hammered, its ace. Just wish the games were bigger/longer.

I have both and only ever play the PS3. Xbox charges you to go online, wireless adaptor is extra and no bluray. Yes the console may be cheaper, but when you but the accessories it don't add up compared to the PS3. A lot of it depends how many mates you have on the consoles, most of my mates are on PS3.

One thing that will possibly sway your decision, is the fact that the PS3 can play Blueray discs. If you have a HD TV (100hz preferably), and you're into movies, then its definitely worth considering a PS3 for this reason.

Well, if money is no object (which it obviously isn't to you Rich!! lol) I'd go PS3.

Everyone I've known thats had an xbox had ended up taking it back due to the 'red death'. Then, 3 xboxes later, they went and bought a PS3 and have had no problems at all....and prefer it.

Plus the PS3 has more power and is more suited to future stuff.

Got to admit that if i had to lose one then it would be the Xbox that went first.

I like the XBox controller more but prefer the "feel" of the PS3 - ive only played the COD series of games on them though. Graphics wise - nothing in it as far as i can tell.

I have owned all the playstation versions that have been available. I have owned a 360 for around 2 weeks, sold it as i couldnt get used to the controller. Think it was just down to the fact i was used to the ps controller. At the end of the day, it will be down to persioanl preference.... but if i were you, i would go with the ps3. :)

same here... ps3 is the one to go for.. you can use it as a pc to. good feature if your lacking space.
