Losi TRUCK shocks
Looking for some Losi TRUCK shocks. Anything considered, don't HAVE to be threaded if the price is right ;)
Bodies and shafts need to be decent, cartridges, seals, eyelets etc not a problem. |
Dan, don't know if this is any help but the xxxt-cr front shocks and shafts are the same as the xxx-cr rears.
The xxxt-cr rear shocks and shafts are the same as the xx4we rears |
I hope so as that is what I have for my X-60 when I get it built
|
I've got a set of the long rear threaded bodies (1,2 losa5056) which I think are the rears??? Sorry no shafts, but they are NIP if any good to you Dan?
|
Ah, very interesting! Thanks Pete.
I actually have some NIP rear 1.2 bodies so will retire my current X5 rear shocks to the truck and build up some new ones for the X5. Slightly annoyingly I also have some NIP .6 bodies but they are XXX / XX4 FRONT bodies. So I might have the retire the X6 rear shocks to the truck and build up some new ones for the X6. Anyone want to swap some XXX front bodies for XXX rear bodies to help a brother out??? :) Dan |
i might be able to help you out on a "body swap" my dads got 2 sets of XXX rears (i think thats what your after? hope i read it right), ill ask him tomorrow and see

Dan, Craig,
I was just thinking about this, AE use the standard B4 rear shock on the rear of the T4 and a slightly longer than B4 front shock on the front. Both lengths of the Losi shocks you're on about using would have way too much droop once they're fitted to the truck wouldn't they? |
No Peetbee the T4 rear shocks and shafts are longer than the rear B4 ones and so are the fronts, got both cars sat next to me... and difference is easily noticeable

If those T4 shocks need a home when you put the losi shocks on Dan... ;)

Whilst I was there, I just compared the AE shocks to the Losi's and the Losi's are still longer than the AE truck shocks. Just thought it was worth bearing in mind. |
Sorry completely forgot about this, I'll ask him tomorrow and let you know, sorry about that
