B4 - Lipo Fitting

Hello!

I plan to order some lipo's this week, for a B4. at the moment, my preference are Demon ones.

Are there any problems with fitting these, or any other lipo's in a b4? the Demon cells I am looking at have the wires exiting the side of the battery case. I am not sure if that will cause a problem?

As I don't have my B4 yet, could anyone tell me what the dimensions are the battery tray in the B4 please?

Thanks,

Chris.

The ones with the side exiting wires look to be designed for touring cars and stick pack 4wd off-roaders where a side exit can be advantageous. These are no good for the B4 as the battery compartment is designed to be a snug fit, being 49mm wide. Hope this helps dude.:)

easy enough to resolve you might have to cut a small slot in the battery tray on the chassis where wire exits on the lipo otherwise you *might* damage the wires

Chris, here's a Demon DL3600 LiPo in my B4 - fits very nicely.

turn the lipo round like i did.
The wires have to be on the right top side not left on the bottom!!

Not quite with you there...the wires exit exactly 'halfway up' the side, so turning it over will give an identical wire exit height....in fact because of the locator 'humps' on the bottom (when fitted as pictured), if turned over the wires will be fractionally lower - I did try it both ways round and this was the preferred orientation.
