I need a picture to see what it looks like as I have never herd of them. Might be a re branded EZ RUN, if it is they are good. See my EZ RUN 5.5 post.

Yes..it's most likely a re branded EZ RUN made by Hobbywing...they work really good and a real value for money too...

HIMOTO

Never seen this system before but it may a Hobby Wing EZ RUN derivitive. If so probably OK, however EZ RUN do 9 turn combo for around £40 which I seen running at Southport, it has been reliable and great value. I'd search for that on EBAY and give that a go instead. ;)

need help please

i just bought an ez run brushless 5.5t motor 60a ECS i just connected all the cables and set it up on my exceed drift car but i changed it into an on road racer but every time i hit the throttle the engine starts to like sputter i tried setting all the values cause it came with a programing card but im still confused im new to the brushless im useing a 3800mah nimh battery can anyone please help i want to go fast,...lol:confused:

That happened to me with NiMH stick packs that had a cell had reversed, causing the load voltage (full throttle) to drop and the battery eliminator to kick in (I think that's the explanation, anyway).

For me, the EZrun only came alive when I switched to LIPO.

westprking1 16-04-2009 05:19 PM

but the statistics said it can use any bettery lipo or nimh or nicd anywere between 6 to 9 cell.. im using a 7.2v 3800 nimh and im completly new to the whole brusless talk..

HI MOTO EZRUN

I have not encountered any problems of this type however I have only run it on LIPO's. You can disable the battery voltage cut off as it only really neccessary for LIPO's and see if that helps. :bored:

The "sputter" is called "cogging", and is caused by overgearing a sensorless brushless motor (It turns too heavy)
Also check the drivetrain, so it runs freely and smooth.

Put on a smaller pinion gear, and the problem will go away.

For more info, search google for "brushless cogging issue"

Hope that helps
