Foam tyres
 

Ok, this one will show you how old I am! A long time ago I used to race a Procat on carpet at what was Ilkeston model car club and is now Broxtowe. I am looking to build a replica of my car from back then, but I need to find the right foam tyres. I believe they were called lilacs, and were 1/8th scale rears that we cut and glued onto the rims. They had a grey stripe through the middle. Any ideas where I might be able to find these tyres? Many thanks…

I know it's not what you are looking for. The foams my local club uses on carpet have a green stripe in them.

The are also the correct size out of the pack for mounting on 1/10 buggy wheels.

Thanks Mick, if I can't find the exact tyres these will be a good alternative.
