TRF501X gears
 

ok so i'm totally new to the buggy world

i decided to buy a TRF501X because it was cheeper then a DF-03 plus hop-ups

so i am at the moment running a 19 turn brushed motor till i get used to it and want to know want pinion /spur gears i need , and were to get them because they dont list many sizes :)

Back when I ran a Durga, I was running 19T brushed at around 9.5:1.

To work out what gears you need for your 501, you need to know what pulleys it has in it, and also what spur gear.

19T is a bit soft for racing though, they struggle to get the car up the big jumps. Surprisingly enough a hotter modified is easier to drive, because you have power to spare.

yeah but if i want to change the spur gear which company/ car do i buy them for ???

Buy Team Associated spur gears. they are a direct fit.
