Steering Posts

I seem to be breaking the steering posts quite a bit on my BJ4 WE, as soon as i change one within a few meetings it's gone again. The car is only run indoors but does come into contact with the odd hard object from time to time. (Driver errors mostly :eh?:) It nearly always seems to be the post were the servo link attaches that breaks.

Having just changed another one tonight i was wondering if the steering set up from a B44 would fit. Has anyone already tried this?

Thanks

I was suprised when one of my mates smashed one the other day.

If your doing this regular then buy a servo saver. It will almost certainly help...

This can happen sometimes if it gets a knock at just the right angle. I've only ever broken 2, and one of those was when T-Bag was driving so that doesn't count :p
