charger question
 

i have an old apex e charger from years ago and i need to know if it will charge nimh battery's as i am trying to sort my son out with a mardave ready for next week and i have just bought cells now but then i realised i may not be able to charge them lol oopps

Is the Apex a pulse charger?

all it says on the charger is
multi function dc computer charger for 4-8 cells
it has a current adjust knob


it also has lots of chinese writing on the back lol

i had it back when nicads were the thing to have like so i doubt if it will charge them

It will physically charge them but the delta peak cutoff will be too high really for Nimh's so will get them hotter than they should, there is a safety implication of that, a lot of the nimh's I saw go pop over the last few years were on chargers that really were for nicads.
