Excelorin V2 software virus?
Just downloaded the V2 software for the ESC (from the Losi site) and when executing the file to install it AVG picked up a few files that it says have a win32/fujacks virus. So I flagged these to AVG to see if they were picked up by mistake, but they replied that they were correctly detected. Has anyone else had this? These files seem to be in the Losi driver file and are 'PreInstaller.exe, slabunin2k.exe and slabuninme.exe'
AVG has quarentined these files but I don't know if the Losi software will correctly flash the ESC without them, or are these real viruses? Any clues would be useful as I'm not quite sure what to do  |
Not too sure on the virus side of things, BUT... I had the same thing. I cant recall where i got the info from, but i believe it advises you to turn avg OFF before software installation. I think you should be fine after this. HTH. :)

I just downloaded it and scanned it with Kaspersky 2009 - nothing found mate.
I don't think I had anything on it from Mcfee when I was using that a few weeks ago and I update my speedo's. I think AVG is throwing a hissy fit. ;) But, you can never be too careful. |
I've downloaded V2 without any problems. I use Sophos aniti-virus software & nothing was detected. However I know that there is a thread on here recommending that you download with AVG turned off if you use it.
