Need road tires for zx-5

Hi all,

I just bought my ZX-5 here in the Netherlands a week ago, and my son has bought a Tamiya "Rising Storm". Since we are in the middle of the city we don't get to some dirt/sand quickly. My son has already worn a set of off-road tires within the week (all the profile is gone :D ). So this afternoon I bought him a set of carson CV-10 road tires, and they are great on his Rising Storm. I thought that I could use them on my ZX-5 aswell, but the rear tires don't fit (the rims scrape the lower suspension arm).

I have been searching for a couple of days now to find me a set of road tires for the ZX-5 but I just cannot find them. Can anybody give me a hint on where to find those. They may be pre-glued of just loose tires and rims, I don't care. And maybe a hint or two on what to look for when choosing a set of rims and/or tires.

Best regards

just run some soft compound offroad tyres till they are bald  I got the perfect set of bald schumacher minipins that are good fun onroad and generate plentty of grip ;) Or you could try these 1/10th scale buggy street tyres there the perfect fit:

Thnx

Okay Mike, thnx for the tip.
I do like the Anaconda tires, and also like the rims.
Is there anyway I can find out If those traxxas rims will fit my ZX-5 ?
Offcours I can alway put them on standard Kyosho 2.2" rims , but I sure like these rims:

But I can't seem to find ANY specs of these rims ... like if it has 12mm hex connection, or what the offset is.

Cheers

edit : as far as I can see , the inside spokes are on the same "height" as the edge of the 12mm hex cavity, which is the same problem with the road tires I bought for my son.

If you like to spend $$$. :)

use Proline Dawg Hawk front and rear. That fit your 2.2 inch wheels.

If not... a worn Proline Holeshot M3 will do the trick.

I used a half worn Tamiya on road.
