eventually going brushless.what pinion can you guys recommend for a 4.5 novak on kit spur?should i back slipper off a touch?full 4wd,no one way yet.only gunna be run outdoors,5 times this year.any advice welcome.many thanks jez.

Never run a 4.5 but ran a Novak 5.5 on a 20 and a 6.5 on a 22 with kit spurs so guessing 18 or so.

As the internal ratio is the same as the B44 / BJ4 etc. just ask what others are running.

I run my 5.5 indoors with a 18 or 19T so for a 4.5 I'd go for what Roger said outdoors, or 16 indoors.

im running a 17 with the kit spur in my sp on a 4.0
