Making my BRCA LiPo saddles fit in a Yokomo BX.
Here are some pictures of how I fitted my Intellect saddle LiPo's from the BRCA approved list.
The terminal locations for the link wire posed a problem as the rear top deck totaly obscured them. This meant a normal link wire would not fit and even if I had made low profile one with 90 degree connections there would have been tricky to insert them / take the cells out for charging. I made a link from some 4mm connectors and a tube. The cells slot in and out realy easily. The battery posts also needed spacing up to accomodate the height of the packs. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/jmberry/iplipo1.jpg http://homepage.ntlworld.com/jmberry/iplio3.jpg http://homepage.ntlworld.com/jmberry/iplipo4.jpg http://homepage.ntlworld.com/jmberry/iplipo2.jpg |

nice, are those cells made by umbro?

Cheers for the comments.
Regarding the case pattern, a few of the cells seem to have this pattern (Demon, Vampire, IP), so either they come from the same factory, or at least the cases do ? |
Good skills with you soldering iron
