ESC and a Ferrite ring

Do people still use these?

Is there any benefit now we are using 2.4ghz systems?

only asking as the esc I got has one but I'm at an ideal time to remove it and shorten the cable

Hi,

Haven't seen them used in years.

2.4 and brushless, has really removed interference issues.

the xcar esc's come with one, i just cut them off and have had no problems. servo's seem to be the bigger interference issue on 2.4 than enything else
