Proposed race dates
 

It's a simple YES or NO answer as to whether you agree or not and thats all you need to reply with.

In an effort to bring some consistency to when we race and stop the last minute thing about shall we race this weekend I propose the following:

Why don't we race on the last Sunday of every Month?

This way it gives everyone a set date of when a meeting is run so people can plan in advance, it doesn't clash with Kellers so we may pick up some racers from there and as far as I am aware it doesn't clash with any other meetings in the local area that people may wish to travel to!! Also it gives people who maybe looking at the website who are interested in seeing what it's all about a date in which they can arrange to pop down.

I know the weather at this time of year is not that reliable, but it's a start.

There is still no reason why other meetings can't be arranged last minute, but a calendar is needed in my view so we all know where we stand.

Sounds good to me......once a month will be about all I can manage this year....are we still talking about racing?:blush:

Its a yes from me. As just realised we have a calender on the NBC website, here is how to get to it:
go on www.norfolkbuggyclub.co.uk, while on that click on 'Norfolk Buggy Club Messageboard' at the bottom of the page and then 'Calender'. We could use this for our race dates and for when Kellers is on so we know what is happening.

yes I am happy with a definite race date, last sunday of each month for now and when the weather improves we can go to forthrightly . Not too woried about clashing with kellers, I DONT LIKE IT!!! but I know what you mean about picking up a few snoring car drivers, once they race there buggys outside they will see why its called an off-road buggy!!!
We need to agree on a date when we all can meet at nbc regardless of the weather and talk, poor OLD dave is pullin what is left of his hair out worrying about the future of nbc and if we want to continue nbc we have got to put the effort and time into it.
Its not fair on dave to shoulder ALL the responsibility of the day to day running of the club alone, which is why we must meet up b4 its too late. I am prepared to help in any way I can, if that means chipping in to cover some rent, or giving up my time for track maintenance or even not going to as many races outside of nbc if they clash, I want this club to survive.....:D

Come on people, we need input here.... lets organise the next meeting NOW. Last sunday of march is d 29th? is this good 4 everyone, I know its stotty in 2 weeks so that date is no good as a few of us r going to represent!!!(Now theres a gr8 outdoor track screaming hyena), bit of a drive though but worth it, if your not playing footy maybe a group of us can car pool 2 save £££.I got some flyers from jcb sat(nice one jon) I will photocopy a shed load next week when im on nights so I can give everyone some to put up in, and around local areas, it's a start. Even if you can't race on the 29th, please try and turn up 4 club meeting, so if we plan to race but the weather lets us down, still come over........as we r running out or time.........
Dave is still chairman so he has the last word on this, so keep cheackin in 4 updates.
