Cougar 2000 rebuild

Hi All, just a quick question regarding replacing the front turn buckles on my C2000. As I am unable to obtain the original parts would it be possible to fit the cougar KF turnbuckles part no U4224? The length is the same at 60mm but would the original ball cup grippers fit as not sure if the thread size is the same? Your help with this would be very much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply's guys, looks like im going to have to bite the bullet and place the order. Hopefully they will be ok.
