How many "oople" members coming over....? |
Practice starts next friday...3rd July......

I'm not that long home from the first day of actual racing, in the spec class - I'm sunburnt but happy, even though I didn't race, being a touring car newb (next year...)
Well done to Alan Bickerstaff for winning all three A finals, and commiserations to all those who left expensive debris on the track (I witnessed one car managing to get over a 2 foot high perimeter fence!) We even drew a small audience of passing dog walkers, surprised at how fast toy cars could go... Took lots of photos, caught quite a few crashes on camera, including a perfectly-focused, airbourne Jim Lee XRay...:p (pictures to follow) I even won a prize in the raffle (an Xmod Honda Civic!) |

Good Gallery Keith....weekend was a great sucess I thought and the racing in the "A" Finals was superb. I see you didn't make to the "shed" with your camera.......:p |
Haven't quite sorted the gallery yet, but here are a few choice ones:
Alan Bickerstaff's TC5 Jim Lee crash 1, part I Jim Lee crash 1, part II My favourite shot of the day (Lee Cutler's TC5 in the lead) Jim Lee crash 2, part I Jim Lee crash 2, part II (Andrew Rennick will thank you for the advertising, Jim!) Carnage! Jim Lee on the track, for a change |
Feel free Colin to show everyone my unique driving style.....:blush:
Must have done something right to get 3rd in the "C" Final on Sunday......:p |
There was a great battle at the front end.
