BRCA North East outdoor regional series dates
 

The BRCA North East outdoor Regional series dates have been announced for the 2009 season. Some of the tracks are new in the series and these are as follows:

NRX – Near Spennymoor
JARROW – BentsPark (site of NERCR regional last year)
YORK – Robin Hood Raceway (Blyth)
TEESSIDE – PrestonPark
BATLEY – Behind Spenborough swimming baths

2wd Series:


Round 1 – NRX – Sunday 26^th April
Round 2 – JARROW – Saturday 23rd May
Round 3 – YORK – Sunday 14^th June
Round 4 – TEESSIDE – Saturday 11^th July
Round 5 – BATLEY – Sunday 9^th August




4wd Series:


Round 1 – JARROW – Sunday 24^th May
Round 2 – YORK – Saturday 13^th June
Round 3 – TEESSIDE – Sunday 12^th July
Round 4 – BATLEY – Saturday 8^th August
Round 5 – NRX – Sunday 23^rd August

NRX 2wd 26th April
Jarrow 2wd & 4wd 23rd/24th May
York 2wd & 4wd 13th/14th June

NRX 4wd 23rd August


so glad jarrow have got bents park to run a weekend event at it, was the best place on the evenings in my opinion

Why do they have to mix the days up for 2 and 4wd, any reason why it cant be like nationals with the 2wd on saturday and 4wd on sunday:confused:

So that if you can only get there on a sunday, you can still complete enough rounds to get an f grade.

... i think im gonna lay off the drink a bit this year me thinks :woot: From what i remember of teesside regional, i got my tent let down and was ready to kill someone.. then walked off into the woods, ran accross the field, was on the swings, ran back and tripped over running past vermins tent... then i got pressured into running round the track :lol:

that sounded like a good weekend ben

Ben, the best part about shields last year was watching you trying and failing to climb over a 6' metal fence when the gate next to it was clearly open :thumbsup:
