3 wins against England in a row, that's gotta hurt! Ha ha.

Doomanic 14-02-2009 08:14 PM

Welsh touch? Is that a euphamism for sheep shagging?

England were much improved today - as an English born that was good to see.

But, as an Evans - the Welsh performance was well worth the win :D - bring on the Irish & French for the Grand-Slam.

It was good to see Martin Johnson’s respect to the ref after the Andy Goode yellow - if it was football he would have been calling the ref a w****r , shows rugby professionals have respect.

Good to see you Loyal to your flag Ash...

I think both teams played a blinder, Elnglands discipline let them down.

Good to see how much you know about rugby then Ash! and how loyal you are, your should support your team win, loose or draw!

IMO was the best ive seen England play since the 07 WC semi final ..

If the ref had given his decisions 50-50 instead of 60-40 think we could have sneaked it!

GRIFF55 14-02-2009 10:51 PM

NAHHHHH:p, I agree with england played better than they have!!!
BUT you didn't win:lol::lol:

(only kidding dykey)

Shame they played Goode though.....should rather play Flood at 10. Defence and tacktickle kicking is much better :p:p

_sleigh_ 14-02-2009 11:09 PM

Nah, he meant that he was going to kick them in the balls. Just his pesky spellchecker got in the way

DCM 14-02-2009 11:15 PM

The ref was good at picking up players going over the ball, and hands in the ruck... but couldn't spot a wonky ball going into the scrum one bit...!!!

Evsie 14-02-2009 11:28 PM

Yeah the feed into the scrum was crooked from both teams all through the match and the ref just wasn't interested in penalising either side.

ashleyb4 14-02-2009 11:32 PM

I mean in more ways than rugby. what do you get for being english other than a kick in the teeth.

stop digging the hole any bigger Ash!

I have to agree that we played a vastly improved game than any recent ones, Flood earned his cap well I think and for my money I'd like to see him in the starting 15 too.

That said, Wales are the team I expect to see lift the title ... no disrespect to the english team but the welsh side are playing much more as a single unit than any other team (might be something to do with the number of players coming from just 2 clubs that play each other regularly so know each others capabilities inside out!).

I'd love to see England win the series, but my money went on the reds.
