Good turn out since it was a Regional at the weekend.
What happened to the 2 Cats in the B final? |
You've answered your own question there both cats .
In all seriousness, Jimmi forgot his charger and Cameron went home ill I think. Peter |
Did you touch Cameron with a touring car?? Was that why he was ill?
|
I really enjoyed the track last night ! The jump was trick to get over as the runup was short but it was ace when you got it right ! And it saved about a second a lap over landing on the top and away !
My B4 felt really good I am getting the nack of it and I was throwing it about a bit which was Fun ! We need a few more 2wd's as 4 was a little sparce ! Maybe if there's less than 5 we can merge with the 4wd ? My mate enjoyed his first outing with his original vintage Cougar 2 works ! I think he got 15 years of dust off it ! I think he maybe hooked ! He just needs a charge as he was shareing mine an it didn't work so well has his bat died twice |

Cameron (if thats the kid with the pink cat?) broke the servo horn on his first lap of his very first run then went home......Lucky........... Jimmi....... |
Jimmy the X6's seem to really go well indoors ! Grieg is uncatchable with his ! I am happy with my setup and wasn't making mistakes (many) and I could not see me going much faster and I still could not keep up ! They just look more stable than the b4 and losi

X6 is the car for me personally  my son got a FT B4 as i am thinking about going to get X6 square :p |
Just to play devil's advocate - I have tried an X-6 and didnt get on with it. My B4 delivered much better results, which is why I still run a B4.
B4 won the regional at the weekend. B4 is world champion With the right tires and driver, all 3 of the cars mentioned and the Kyosho RB5 are capable. Have a go with all 3, Ill let you have a night of racing with mine if you want (and if you repair any broken bits). |
yes chris i understand your points
X6 clicked on me when i first race it as i took a gamble to buy it and builded it and luckily my gambled paid off with x6 but didn't for the losi cr and B4. |
For me you can just watch the x6 to see that it is less prone to oversteer and untersteer it looks more like a 4wd ! Thing is it's so expensive !
|
they can suffer from random understeer sometimes though as i've found and they don't seem to be as fun to drive as a rear motor car in my opinion and run one myself! They are easier to get round the track consistantly lap after lap though I think.
|
It's funny cos I was thinking the same thing ! I enjoy throwing my b4 about and I am starting to get used to it now ! I think that you can learn to drive better when the car is a little unstable !
I think we need a 2wd night to sort this out ! LOL |
