Put my sinterd rotor from my 6.5 in my 4.5 brushless motor and whack it in my b44 setting the gearing as per manual?

will it be stupidly quick or only about 20% faster?

it won;t be massively faster. you will need to gear up a couple of teeth compared to your old bonded rotor though.
