New Here

Hi Guys

Been a racer many yrs ago and want to get back into it, i am looking at getting a 2wd and 4wd, now there seem to be many options in terms of manufacturer. What is the best combo to go for? And most important why?

Schumacher.
Kyosho.
Xray
Yokomo
Losi (Are they still in the running?)

Cheers

Can't fault my TLR 22 4.0, plus it comes with all the parts in the box to run it on high or low grip.

Best bet is to see what's running at your local track and what the local shop stock for parts backup although mail order is also of course an option.

What they said, get down to your local clubs and see what's being run there then pick the one you want. No bad buggies out there.

Ok, here what your saying, went to my local club and theres quite a mix, Yokomos, Team c, 2 X-rays, few schumachers.

So plenty of support for help if needed, but what is the overall best package?

It all depends on what surface your running on. For 4wd it's got to be Xray. I don't think many will disagree with that....though parts are a little harder to come by due to certain people doing certain things.
2wd is a different matter for me. I've tried an xb2 16/17ce for the last year and on high grip it's a very good car,on grass or wet Astro(medium to low grip)couldn't get it to work to keep up with the likes of Kyosho,Yokomo or AE 2wd's.
I've now switched to Losi 22 4.0 for 2wd but not had the chance to run it competitively as yet.
The Losi has both gearbox options in the kit, standup for low grip and laydown for high grip.

One things for sure, your spoilt for choice:thumbsup:
