Name that Thermal Charger-1980's
OK, a recent facebook thread got me trying to remember what was the name of the thermal charger i had in the 1980's.
No pictures (obviously!) blue metal case powder coated light blue which attached with four phillips screws to a magnolia coloured chassis. LCD digital temp display on the face and a red start button. 12V powered, NiCd only. It wasn't Demon or Wasp, but maybe of that era/size brand. Any ideas? Grateful for any thoughts! |
Intronics built by dave spasshetts dad is my guess

The lasting memory I have of my Intronics thermal charger was it destroying a brand new set of Schumacher SCR's on their first charge when the probe fell out
|
I remember having to put nicads (in a plastic bag) in ice so i could charge them again-harsh!
