Xb4 14 spec using 16spec wishbones
 

What are people opinions on mixing parts between models.
I have a 14 spec kit i bought second hand and it seems to have lots of 16spec parts mainly the rear wishbones. They are very different from the 14spec.
I was wondering of this might have any effects neg or pos on the cars handling etc.

It's usually worth getting the exploded diagram of both cars next to each other and see what other parts have changed.

If it's only the wishbones that have changed, differences won't be huge. If it's new hinge assemblies, hubs, chassis, suspension etc. You might be out of luck.

Also worth checking around, as some places actually include a compatibility chart of sorts.
