LRP FlowX or Reedy 510R
 
Hi all,

I had to buy a new esc for my B64 powered by a 5.0T Reedy M3
(my old tekin RSpro had t° cut after 6min racing on carpet with this config.)

After watching around my attention been retain by, the LRP flow x offroad ,
and the Reedy 510R
Two really differents esc but twice looks good
so maybe your advices, observations could help my choice

Both good Esc's, have a look at the Hobbywing Xr10 Pro, a lot of us at my local club have these and they are fantastic, get the WIFI module and you can change settings on the drivers stand!

5.0 in off road seems pretty hard core!

You can very occasionally see strange things happen when you cross brands. I guess the reason for this is that when testing, the brands won't generally go testing with other companies parts - i.e when the Reedy factory guys were testing stuff for the 510, it's a reasonable guess that they were running it with a Reedy motor, likewise LRP. I'd say this is unusual, but I have seen it. That said, in your proposed combination, Neil Cragg uses LRP ESC's and Reedy motors, so that "should" be OK.
