B64d front tyres

Hi all

I'm new to 4wd and just had my first race on Astro and had way to much grip and was grip rolling on the corners
I'm running wide cut staggers on the front what other tyres would you recommend

Try 2WD narrow cut staggers or uncut staggers. If they are too little grip then the JConcepts wide Pink Swaggers might be nicely in the middle

I have used some of the standard profile 2wd cut staggers on my K2, they seem to work ok. The rolling radius is nearer to the rear tyres too.

Used both 4wd Cut Staggers on STD wheels and 2wd Narrow Cut Staggers on Cut Down 4wd Fronts and found with the very dry Astro we had last Sunday the 2wd Staggers were the better choice bit of understeer but far preferable to the grip roll other racers were having with grippier tyres.

I was racing at stotfold for the first time and was just struggling with to much grip even on with my B5m
I did see even some of the top guys had the same problem
Where you running low profile slim staggers or normal height slims

Low Profile ones (yellow compound) and a set of Worn Schumacher Yellow Mini Pins on the rear by the end of the meeting the rears were totally trashed and are now sitting in my Acetone tank.
