no, it's no depends of place where i raced

Mike Hudson 03-02-2009 05:08 PM

lipo! less maintenance, longer lifespan, more capacity, less weight, more current, more time for fun! :D

RogerM 03-02-2009 08:46 PM

I'm going to stay with NiMhs for 09 ...... not convinced by the LiPo thing at all.

But I might well be alone reading things on here!

losixxx 03-02-2009 08:58 PM

Nope, i will be running NIMH this season too...more a cost thing than anything really

You are, but Nimh might catch on if you fly the flag long enough roger, just like the RB5 has

Mike Hudson 03-02-2009 09:04 PM

The RB5 has to be car to have this season...! With a retail of £270 for the standard version now, how much will the sp version be when its released :o:lol: Bargain basement prices :wub

haha, i thought that too!! :D

Im all for the ease, Lipo can only be the way forward in this sport for 2 reasons..

1. Super simple no hassle
2. I think personally there more safe, They dont expload with out prior warning like NIMH

If anything there should be a change pouch for NIMH!

Mike Hudson 03-02-2009 10:45 PM

didn't you hear?... 5inch thick hardened steel container is standard brca requirement now for when using and storing sub c nimh cells :o

Matt Alcock 03-02-2009 10:49 PM

new nosram 5300 lipos!!!!

Garry Driffill 03-02-2009 10:53 PM

Thats madness
