Well i had my first outing with mine today at the local club , to be honest its the best ive done since i got back into racing again!
I initially bought a yokomo bx and it was a great car , however i did get bogged down with all the adjustability of the car .
The bmax has a less adjustment and has a slightly longer wheelbase. This gave me more time enjoying the car and is smoother over the bumpy bits.
Its less aggressive and more consistent .
I love it! Theyve made a car that costs half the price and is obviously aimed at the racing market aswell as the basher.
I didnt break a thing and im running a rather fruity 4 turn lrp motor .
Try it!;)

Speedworm, what do those option diff outdrives do?

Also, any idea when the steering/motor mount parts will be available?

Do you have the part number for the front hinge pin mounts (the 2 little blue bits!)?

Finally, are the rear hubs different toe in to standard?

Why did you decide to drive the B-max instead of the BX?

It seems that most parts will be available in Japan in the last day of februar but some of them are already available by e-seller.ch

Just been in contact with rcmxstore in Japan and they do not ship overseas:thumbdown:

If you are looking for a store in Japan that has good Yokomo stocks and ships internationally try Pro Shop Futaba.

You can also try RC Champ but in my experience they are not so good for Yokomo.

The Yen is so strong right now that for a lot of things it is cheaper to see if you can find any pre-price-rise stock in the UK! Particularly when you account for the shipping cost, import duty and handling charges on any high-value order.

I would buy from a UK dealer but they dont seem to have any at the moment, marc at MK Racing said he hasnt seen/heard of anything yet but im sure he will let us no when they come in.
