New yz2 chassis bent?

Hi all

Just brought a new YZ2 CA/DT chassis. When I opened the packet and placed it on my glass set up board I noticed it doesn't sit flat. There's a bend in the middle. Checked it again with a straight edge to just confirm. Is this normal?

Cheers

Yeah that's how they all come, and is due to the factory bending process.

What's important is how cleanly the front bulkhead sits on to the chassis side rails, which in a high speed frontal impact can bend. I've done this, so I know the painful replacement cost. I frontal impact car doesn't drive right, and the top bulkhead wont fit without persuasion. I've known people bend them back, but i wasn't happy with that so replaced mine.

If it all goes together easily and straight, then you're good.
