How does one upload photos?

I'm sure this is simple, but could someone tell me how to simply upload photos? I have them hosted on a cloud, and have the link... I just don't seem to be able to make them display in the thread?

You need to use the "insert image" icon, then paste in the link to the photo.
using the advanced post editor, stating with the Bold B, its the 14th icon along the bar.

It will put [ IMG ] and [/ IMG ] around the link, without the spaces included.
