Charging LIHV?

Looking at buying some 2S LIHV packs, does anyone know if these can be charged as per any other 2S lipos?

Yes they can.

You get no gain from having them, they only work in hv mode when charged to the higher voltage, and the brca ban such action in general rules, which therefore all member have to abide by be it club to national racing

In 1/10 yes I'd agree, but not in 1/8 thankfully as long as they are under the voltage limit...

your missing the point, there is no gain, even in 10th 2s blinkey racing, they do not sit at the higher nominal voltage unless you charge to the higher cut off.
ask the tc drivers who run blinkey, they can not get the extra voltage...

Not really....

The LIHV were much cheaper than the LIPO as no one can run them, but offered the same performance, even when charged to the same voltage as a normal lipo.

My question was purely related to the charging, to ensure they could be charged in the normal way on a normal charger.

They will also be less prone to swelling as you are never fully charging them, which is a bonus :)
