tamiya rattle cans,good or bad?

im useless at painting but ive got a couple of new rallycross shells to spray with rattle cans,i only have the tamiya ones, are they any good or are there better ones out there?

last shell i sprayed with the tamiya rattlers the paint was just flaking off, mind you i didnt scuff the lexan surface, maybe that will cure it?

Yep, should do.
I've painted shells for people that they have scuffed first and they've asked for tamiya colours.
And the paint is still on years later after many heavy crashes.

Cleaning (degrease is reason) and scuffing shell is needed. Then Tamiya works fine. I used it for many years.

I don't even bother to scuff with the Tamiya cans, obviously a good wash and dry beforehand, personally I think they are the best cans I have ever used, never had any paint flake off.

As with all paints - if it smells bad - it works!

Be sure to use the PS kind (made for lexan).
