Esc/brushless motor
 

Can someone please tell me how I can tell what motor an esc would take the limit? Just a little confused

120A or over will take almost anything you care to throw at it safe down to 4.5t way more than any off road requirements

60A I have seen running up to 7.5 motors but im not sure how close that is to the edge capacity wise

if you're going 2wd or 4wd look for a 120 a and be done with it

I usually look at the spec of the ESC on the manufacturers homepage. Or in the instruction book.

(Then add a turn to give myself a margin!)

Wheeeee, thats a blast from the past, that was my first ESC, but the pro version with 6.5 turn motor (and a fan on the ESC!)

There's the data sheet from the importer.

Looks like it should be OK down to 8.5T if its the race ESC (which is what should be bundled with the 10.5)
If it is the pro ESC, you'll have more margin than you know what to do with!

And yes, it's a decent ESC.
I didn't regret buying mine, i just upgraded to more bells and whistles and 120 quid for ESC and motor.......

The ESC is still going strong in a mates truggy.
