Block Tyres Yellow Compound - Wheels 2.2'
 

Good morning,

I need advices on the use of "Schumacher Block Tyres" ( Ref : Rear U6786 & Front U6787 ).
Some drivers use this tyre on Astroturf for the long wear but they cut it specially to fit correctly on the Wheels 2.2' .( The tyre is 2.0 )
I will appreciate if some body could explain me how to cut the tyre ( Lips ? Diameter ? ) and glue it on wheel 2.2' .

we run these at forcc there are 2 ways to run them either full stretched over full rim no cutting of tyre or rim.
more traction
or cut inner rib from rim and put tyre over smaller wheel no cutting of tyre
more side bite.
some have removed inner ribs from tyre but a painful process, as for long life the top lads are getting max 3 weeks racing from them.

thats for rears i run 2wd so cant comment on fronts

As above :thumbsup: we've used them but never cut the ribs just stretched them over, others I know turn them inside out and remove the ribs.

I am interesting on that method...
After cutting the inner ribs from tyre, Is it glueing the rest ribs tyre against the inner ribs of rim ?
