I read somewhere on this forum that someone was using Losi springs for their X11.... Which model car were the springs from? Are they longer? Do they fit on the new shocks?

yer the origional person that was doing it was northy , i think they were the blue front springs like on the x6 but you only run them on the back of the pred

that is right blitz blue on the back

Nope the origonal was me at the york off road regional. The springs i used were the losi grren fronts on the rear and std pred on the front

I'm using blue losi xxx front springs on the back of my pred at the moment, works well although there is a small amount which rubs but only because the springs have a marginally bigger diameter than the standard ones

any losi 1/10th buggy front spring as they are all the same lenth from the xx through to current cars, the losi springs arelonger than the kit ones so give a different characteristic to the pred springs. wether better or not is another question......... i personaly prefer the pred springs but others swear by the losi ones. i have also seen AE front springs being used as well ;)
