New To Racing

1 Attachment(s)
Hi Guys, new to the racing scene. Have alway RC cars to mess around with but never on the track. Just picked up this Schumacher SV2 with speed passion 13.5T motor and a heap of spares.

Which ESC would you recommend on a budget? Also radio gear? It came with saddle packs, are these worth using or should i swap out for a shorty pack?

Thanks in advance

use what you have to start with

sv2 is decent enough first choice don't spend a fortune have ago as cheaply as you can, if you decide its not for you will probably recoup most of your outlay .If you get hooked it may be better to trade up than spending a fortune improving your current weapon

ESC wise you can buy cheapies for 15 quid or less (I have a few and no issues with any some have been known to go "pop" very quickly you van buy secondahand but I suggest you buy "locally" from a fellow racer because he will most likely help you install it and set to your needs and prove it runs!! If he wont assist leave it !!

Mb models in leeds are super helpful guys if buying new

Always good to have a new person in the hobby.
As long as everything works that you've bought don't change anything unless it breaks.
The Schumacher will be competitive enough for you at least to stsrt with
