transponder for use at Batley buggy club
 

has anyone got one for sale? or can point me in the right direction?

MB Models shop has new MRT transponders in stock to buy. the club also had handouts for members to use.

thats brilliant so is it just an MRT transponder i need?

If you wish to buy your own, the MRT is fine, or if you by a MY laps (AMB) one, it must not be the latest 3 wire one, any earlier one is fine.
As Neal said, the club has handouts available for those without transponders

You want the newer type of MRT. The older ones did not work with AMB RC4 decoders. if someone offers you a really cheap MRT, its possible it may not work with some decoders at some clubs. They can be traded in for newer ones, but that will cost you more than a new one from the outset.
AMB Harry is the way to go if you want to spring the extra for an AMB. performance wise, they are the same.
