A Small oOple Error

The X - 6 Squared will come standard with an aluminum motor plate, NOT a CF plate as seen on Ellis' car and written about in the oOple report.

We have changed manufacturers for the motor plate, and the one in the Squarted Kits is much nicer than the original. This new plate will also become standard in the X - 60 Kit as current stock is exhausted. The design is identical and the new plate is made from 6061. Part # 1232 will also become the new plate as stocks are exhausted. The new plate fits all 4-Gear transmissions in the original X - 6 as well as the X - 60 and X - 6 Squared.

Ellis likes to have all the coolest stuff on his car, and had the CF plate in the oOple photos made specially for him.

Dear Chazz! How can we communicate? I'm writing letters & PMs almost every day... NO REPLY AT ALL.

Must be a miscommunication with Ellis - fixed in the report now:blush:

The carbon motor plate in question that Ellis runs is our own DMS Partz one (not a cusotm made - you only need to ask these questions Jimmy, we dont bite!! LOL), available from all good X-Factory UK dealers...........

Very good part it is too!

That reminds me Mr B. did one go in the "24hr car" delivery?? (BTW, haven't seen that delivery yet)

Darren Boyle 22-01-2009 12:12 PM

Phil, no the 24 hour car hasnt got one yet, but it can have one if you all want one, the package is being sealed as we speak and it is no bother to add one!! Will be with you tommorow (was waiting for the K factory alloy mounts for the carbon tower)

Seeing as Tom will have the tranny for a few hours driving time, I think it best to go for a Carbon Plate.

I'll keep an eye out for the box tomorrow, it'll keep me busy on Saturday. :bored:

At least a car with a corner (or two) missing will go through less rubber in 24hrs.
