Lowe, Martin and Truman win at Petit 2009

The weekend of 17-18th January 2009 saw the third running of the 10th Electric off road 'Petit' race - the Petit Europe Tour. Organised by our friends at PetitRC.com, the Petit came to the UK for the first time - held at the excellent Maritime Raceway in Gillingham.

Lee Martin took top honours in 2WD buggy whilst Richard Lowe took the Truck class. Tony Truman took his HotBodies D4 to TQ and Win in the 4WD class.

Manolis said he'd email me when he gets back - but I think he's also on the forum? not sure. If I hear from him I will tell him to get in touch with you unless he reads this first of course.

Good write up and cracking photo's Jimmy. My brother won the CAT, he's happier than a dog with two d*cks :woot:

I pitted beside him at the Euros in Italy.

It was an experience. But he is a genuine guy that wants to build and design rc cars. (He does have a really good engineering knowledge/skill.)
